The Rice Jazz Combo and the Rice Jazz Ensemble are performing in a joint concert this Thursday, March 20 at 8 pm in Brown Commons. Come hear some hot jazz.

R2: The Rice Review, our undergraduate literary magazine, is currently accepting applications for its 2008-2009 editorial board. Applications are due THIS FRIDAY (21st). Staff turnover occurs every year. The following positions are available:

EDITORS-AT-LARGE
Applications are available for download online under “news and events” at http://r2mag.rice.edu. They are due in hard copy by friday, march 21. Turnover day is april 12. For questions please e-mail annwang@rice.edu.
Working on the magazine has been a very rewarding and educational experience for students of all years and fields for the last four years. People new to the magazine or even new to creative writing are encouraged to apply

Stress and Mental Health
Wednesday, 3/19, 12pm Hanszen Upper Commons
Are you stressed? Do you know how to handle stress? Do you know what mental health issues are greater concerns for college students? For women vs. men? Come hear Taya Reed, the Director of the Source for Women, an off-campus counseling center, talk about these issues and answer any questions you may have! A free lunch will be provided.
