2. CCS Talent Show

Hey RICE!
Do you have Talent?
Do you want to win great prizes for yourself and for your college?
It’s time for the Caribbean Student Society (CSS) TALENT CHALLENGE 2008!
Where: Lovett Undergrounds
When: Saturday March 22nd 2008 @ 7 p.m.
Why: This is a fundraiser for the CSS Disaster Relief Fund we are establishing this year. A $3 dollar entrance fee will be collected at the door.
We need your talent to make this possible. Individual (spendable J) Prizes will be awarded to the top three performers/groups, and the talent challenge trophy/plaque and associated bragging rights will go to the Winning performer’s college/GSA.
Can you prove that you are the most talented performer at Rice? And that your college really is the best college? Or are the graduate students better than all the colleges put together?
Enter yourself to find out! Encourage your friends to enter!
Please e-mail: djl1@rice.edu to enter.
Caribbean Food will be served for the first 100 people to arrive!
See you there!

3. Lost Shoe at Hanszen

Hi, I lost one of my shoes during the Beer Bike madness in the Hanszen Quad. It is an Antonio Mellani brand, brown ballet flat. If you have found or seen it, will you contact me? Andie Samuelsen, andiesamuelsen@gmail.com Thanks!

4. Beer Bike Pictures!

If you didn't get soaked last Saturday you were either sick in bed or, like me, you were wearing a poncho. This year's Willy Week culminated in a bigger, better and wetter Beer Bike parade than ever before, followed by a contested race and lots of sunburn. For those who missed it and for those who can only remember, head over to
http://dtabakov.com/categories.php?cat_id=255&po=255&pm=2 and prepare to waste a couple of hours.
For those who don't have exams this week, the extended edition, with pictures from the festivities before the Parade, is here:

5. Apply to Coordinate the Rice Players

The Rice Players are now accepting coordinator applications. The Rice
Players are governed by a group of student coordinators who choose plays and directors, assist with design and production duties, and represent the group to other students on campus. This is a great way to get involved with theatre on campus. The coordinator position is open to all returning students, graduate and undergraduate. To apply, please print the attached application, fill it out, and return it to:
Christopher Warrington
Jones College
MS-711
or
Christopher Warrington
Jones College
23 Sunset Blvd.
Houston, TX 77005
Questions? E-mail the Current Managing Rice Players Coordinator,
Christopher Warrington, at chrisw@rice.edu
Good luck!
