5. Help Wanted: Paper Editing for Chinese Grad Student

I am a graduate student of Economics Department at Rice. My name is Jingyi Xue and I am from China. :) I have written a paper in English and am preparing for publication. However, when I presented the paper to my professors for comments, almost all of them said that while it is nice work, I should improve the language prior to publication. I am looking for some help improving the language of the paper. I need it to sound more professional, but my capability in English is somehow limited. My friend suggested that I could come to Hanszen. I am willing to pay for the language improvement job. Thanks you very much for your kind help.

About BioTour:

BioTour is a journey that aims to enliven the Sustainability Movement while exploring the depths of America—the people, land, and cultures. BioTour addresses the vital issues of climate change, environmental degradation, and peak oil while presenting pathways toward sustainability in renewable energy and active democracy.

The Mission of BioTour is:

1. To promote sustainability through individual action, community organizing and civic participation in order to build a stronger democracy that can best address these issues that will affect us all;

2. To challenge obsolete conceptions of energy and the environment by putting the issues of climate change, peak oil, resource depletion and environmental degradation into a context relevant to the lives of every American;

3. To facilitate discussion concerning the values and principles that will lay the foundation for a sustainable society;

4. To connect art, music, creative culture and celebration to political culture in order to enliven and unite the Sustainability Movement and help build a culture of participatory democracy;

5. To explore America on a journey that delves into the big cities and small towns, the overlooked cultures and hidden landscapes, and to take a critical look at American society with a broad perspective;

6. To engender a way of living that values creativity, community, solidarity, sustainability and exploration;

7. To create partnerships with local and national groups dedicated to promoting sustainability;

8. To bring excitement to the Sustainability Movement with our story of adventure by documenting our journey on video, in photographs and in the BioTour Vagabond Journal.
