1. Advertise Your Club at Vision Weekend
The start of VISION, the recruitment program for prospective, underrepresented minority students, is quickly approaching. If you still want to advertise your club to the prospective students, please send a ONE page advertisement (as a pdf or word document) to kwilliams@rice.edu no later than Tuesday, February 3rd, 5PM. We will compile the advertisements into a packet for the prospective students. The advertisements may be shrunk to conserve paper, so, please take this into consideration in regards to the amount and size of text you use.

Hey everybody!
My name is Faheem Ahmed, I'm a senior at Baker College, and I entered a MTV contest with Anish Patel, junior at Sid Rich, to represent Rice University at the Oscars. Our video was selected to be one of the top 10 semifinalists from the entire country! BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP. Voting starts now and ends next Friday, Feb. 6. The video with the most votes will be flown to the Academy Awards to interview celebrities on the red carpet on MTV!!! Please please please vote for us. 3. Part Time Job Opportunity
PART TIME PROJECT CONTENT WRITER FOR ENGINEERING / ARCHITECTURAL PRESENTATION
Houston marketing firm seeking individual with engineering or architectural background for part time project developing content for presentation to architectural firms on incorporating renewable energy/energy-saving considerations into commercial building design. Presentation designed to help attendees fulfill their architectural Continuing Education requirements.

Desired individual should have good technical knowledge of current renewable energy/energy-saving roles and requirements in today’s building design and how architects can incorporate those aspects in their commercial projects. Developed content could be new or re-purposed material from individual’s own earlier experience, projects or papers.
Approximately 10 hours. Project payment: $500.
